The draw was held on August 17, 2026, at 12:33:42 UTC, with candidates requiring a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 760 to receive an invitation.
The tie-breaking rule for the draw was August 7, 2026, at 18:01:56 UTC. This means that where more than one candidate had the minimum CRS score of 760, priority was given to candidates who submitted their Express Entry profiles before that date and time.

Provincial nominees receive an additional 600 CRS points after accepting an Express Entry-linked provincial nomination, which significantly increases their chances of receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residence. IRCC confirms that candidates applying through an Express Entry PNP stream must also be eligible for at least one of the federal programs managed through Express Entry.
Candidates who receive an invitation have 60 calendar days to submit their complete permanent residence application to IRCC.
