Latest Express Entry Round Targets Provincial Nominee Candidates, 534 Invited

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another Express Entry draw, issuing 534 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

The latest round reinforces the continued role of Provincial Nominee Programs in Canada’s immigration system, allowing provinces and territories to nominate skilled workers who meet their labour market and economic needs before they receive an invitation for Permanent Residency through Express Entry.

Key Details

  • Program: Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
  • Announcement Date: July 6, 2026
  • Draw Date and Time: July 6, 2026, at 11:48:43 UTC
  • Invitations Issued: 534
  • Minimum CRS Score: 708
  • Rank Required: 534 or above
  • Tie-Breaking Rule: June 4, 2026, at 14:49:51 UTC

If more than one candidate had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 708, invitations were issued based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

Provincial Nominee Program

The Provincial Nominee Program allows participating provinces and territories to nominate individuals who have the skills, work experience, and qualifications needed to support their local economies.

Some Provincial Nominee Program streams operate independently of Express Entry, while others are aligned with the Express Entry system.

For candidates nominated through an Express Entry-aligned stream, the additional CRS points received from a provincial nomination significantly improve their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply for Permanent Residency.

Applicants interested in provincial nomination pathways may benefit from seeking professional immigration guidance to identify programs that match their qualifications and long-term immigration goals.

Recent Express Entry Invitations

IRCC has continued conducting regular Express Entry invitation rounds in recent weeks, targeting different categories of applicants based on Canada’s immigration priorities.
