This online system collects basic information about the applicant\u2019s skills, work experience, education, language ability, and intent to live in the province.<\/p>\n<p>The EOI is\u00a0<strong>not an application<\/strong>\u00a0but rather a pre-screening step. After submitting an EOI, candidates may be selected to receive an\u00a0<strong>Invitation to Apply (ITA)<\/strong>\u00a0if they meet the eligibility criteria and align with current labour demands in the province.<\/p>\n<p>According to the official FAQ, the EOI remains active for\u00a0<strong>12 months<\/strong>\u00a0from the date of submission. If applicants do not receive an ITA within that period, they must submit a new EOI if they still wish to be considered.<\/p>\n<p>To complete an EOI, most candidates will need an\u00a0<strong>invite code<\/strong>, which is typically provided by a Newfoundland and Labrador employer. This requirement ensures that applicants have a genuine job offer or employer connection in the province.<\/p>\n<p>Once an ITA is issued, candidates have\u00a0<strong>60 days<\/strong>\u00a0to submit a full application under either the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) or the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). Meeting federal eligibility and admissibility requirements remains a mandatory part of the process.<\/p>\n<p>The Government advises applicants to keep their EOI information\u00a0<strong>accurate and up to date<\/strong>.
