New Grants for International Students at University Canada West (UCW) - Sehli Global Visa Consultant
University Canada West (UCW) is introducing three new grants for international students. These grants apply to both undergraduate and graduate programs starting from the July 2025 intake through 2026. Here’s a quick breakdown of the new grants and updates you should know.
1. In-Canada Education Advancement Grant
Programs: MBA, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication
Eligibility: For international students who have lived in Canada for at least one year or completed a qualification here.
Grant Value: Students will pay domestic tuition rates, making education more affordable.
Tuition Fees After Grant:
MBA:
- 2025 Intake: CAD 31,230 (CAD 2,082 per course)
- 2026 Intake: CAD 32,790 (CAD 2,186 per course)
Bachelor’s Degrees:
- 2025 Intake: CAD 40,600 (CAD 1,015 per course)
- 2026 Intake: CAD 42,640 (CAD 1,066 per course)
2. Bright Futures Grant
Programs: Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication
Eligibility: Open to all international students, both in Canada and abroad.
Grant Value: CAD 29,750 for both 2025 and 2026 intakes.
Tuition Fees After Grant:
- 2025 Intake: CAD 55,010 (CAD 1,375 per course)
- 2026 Intake: CAD 59,250 (CAD 1,481 per course)
3. International Access Grant
Program: MBA
Eligibility: For international students from select countries.
Grant Value: CAD 11,000 for both 2025 and 2026 intakes.
Tuition Fees After Grant:
- 2025 Intake: CAD 32,275 (CAD 2,151 per course)
- 2026 Intake: CAD 35,095 (CAD 2,339 per course)
Other Updates
Deposit Changes:
- Canada-based applicants: From CAD 3,000 to CAD 4,500
- International applicants: From CAD 7,900 to CAD 8,000
